About Blue Cloud
Founded in 1970, Blue Cloud Farms has been a steady presence in the Colorado horse community, offering both English and Western training for riders and their horses for the last 50+ years.
We currently offer four main services: lessons, training, boarding, and showing, all focused on the hunter/jumper and dressage disciplines of English riding. We draw on years of experience and a rich heritage, incorporating classical tried & true training methods with newly mainstream natural horsemanship. We strive for excellence in a low pressure atmosphere where community and fun are highly valued.
Blue Cloud is a place where children and youth are encouraged to become horsemen and build friendships; where adults come to hone their hobby, connect, and unwind; where horses can enjoy being horses; and where all become part of the Blue Cloud family.
Whether it is your first time on a horse or you are aiming for the "A" show circuit, come reacquaint yourself with the unhurried ways of barn life, and the joy, thrill, and satisfaction of life with a horse in your family.
Our Staff
Oscar is our faithful barn manager, taking care of everything from feeding to flat tires and everything in between. Without him, we couldn't do what we do, and would be in a world of hurt! Say "Hello" and a big "Thank you!" to Oscar when you see him!

Our Facilities
We are proud to offer indoor and outdoor stabling in the form of stalls, runs, and pasture. We have two large outdoor arenas with amazing all weather footing: one is dedicated to jumping with courses or gymnastics changed on a regular basis, while the other is for flat work and practice over cavaletti. The clubhouse overlooks our indoor, while in our pasture cross country fences provide jumping challenges.
Just out the driveway lay miles of quiet roads for hacking with friends. All of this is in an idylic corner of the Front Range close to Boulder and Longmont.
